One of the early flagship projects AssistU Global completed was the merging of the business systems of OSV Group (One St Vincent Group). Seven businesses with diverse business models across a range of products and services were brought together to form one company serving a wide range of needs in the Caribbean islands of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Each business operated with its own systems, data formats, and processes. Products and services ranged from automotive supplies and power tools to PPE, electrical goods, office furniture, and solar solutions. The goal was not simply to install new software, but to create a coherent operating model that every department could rely on from day one.
We sent structured business analysis packs to each of the seven businesses to capture how they operated, what they needed, and where the potential lay.
We held a dedicated discovery session with each business in turn, building a clear picture of requirements, dependencies, and opportunities before any technical work began.
We designed and implemented technical solutions, coordinating a global team to unify business systems and processes. Data from each business arrived in different formats — we adapted, mapped, and migrated it into one central ERP solution.
We managed the transition through go-live with on-site support, staff training, and side-by-side assistance during the critical early period after launch.
Each department of the new company was supported so staff understood their role, the new environment, and the business processes they would follow going forward.
A single, trusted regional supplier — now operating as OSV Group — with unified inventory, customer service, and back-office processes across a broad product portfolio serving Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Two established e-commerce businesses — one on Magento, the other on Shopify — each listed hundreds to thousands of products. Category pages carried useful detail, but maintaining rich, accurate product-level content across every listing was impractical. It demanded product knowledge and research that could not simply be delegated without quality suffering.
